libcdaudio1 software package provides library for controlling a CD-ROM when playing audio CDs, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdaudio1
libcdaudio1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdaudio1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdaudio1 *
You will get with libcdaudio1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
